Flint replied that he would work on those whenever he had free time. Buffett shook his head and replied that everything Flint hadn't circled should become his avoid at All Costs List. p91
I don't think people can succeed this way. We can't rely on any trick to win.
The more important factors are our identity and ego. We need to think about our every action all the time, instead of once per day/week.

The better way, to paraphrase entrepreneur Naval Ravikant, is to work like a lion: Sprint, rest, repeat. p101
Not running at fixed speed for long time.

20260821 - 10. Summary: Time Wealth

Don't like this book.
Those tips are too complicated.
I have a better idea: 2 seconds rule.
Think for 2 seconds before making decisions.
Should I do it now? Should I buy it now? Should I say this?

It's more about ego.

Actually, nothing with form can last forever. Not even stars. It's critical to accept it, which make our lives in calm and peace. A New Earth "This, too, will pass."

"Like muscles, neglected relationships atrophy." p150
It's just at different scale. Each individual person is like a cell to the organ(such as muscle), to the community/family/society/religion.

These tips are not really useful.
The critical point is attention. How can we maintain attention for long time? How can we become curious about something or even anything?
The book doesn't mention anything about that.

Our mind is like murky water. We need to let the dust settle down to get clear water, then we will know what we want.

Maybe both the fisherman and the banker are happy with their choices and priorities.
"A gold medal is a wonderful thing, but if you are not enough without it, you'll never be enough with it." 318
The difference between the fisherman and the banker is more about antifragility. With or without a few million dollars which brings in passive income, is critical to maintain our life standard.
Gold medal is proof and evidence of our gorgeous past. Passive income is not "gold medal".
Gold medal is our imagination. Basic passive income is real.
But if the passive income is above some level, it becomes our imagination again.
